This is the Robinson Racing 65T GEN3 Slipper Unit for the Traxxas
E-Revo Brushless Editions. It is a 0.8 module with a 65-Tooth Steel
Spur/Slipper Pad/Backplate/Bearing assembly.
Robinson Racing GEN3 Slipper Units can handle enormous the load
conditions dispensed by today's high-power brushless motor systems. The
new assemblies are a captured design to prevent slipper pad blowout and
allow maximum power delivery to the ground. The high-performance
hardened steel spur gear with a blackened finish will not strip or fail.
Both tough and strong, the 0.8 module/32-pitch teeth can handle all the
power you can pour on the spur gear. And equally as tough, the aircraft
grade billet aluminum backplate will not break or bend either. The
increased surface area of the oversized slipper pad ensures consistent
and dependable performance. The unit also benefits by its economy: less
total parts reduces flex and wobble in the spur gear and slipper unit.
